Dr. Luiza Cerioli is a Senior Researcher at the University of Kassel, focusing on International Relations, geopolitics, and development politics in the Global South. She is currently at the Extractivism.de research network, an interdisciplinary project funded by the German BMFTR. Bruno Vicente Lippe Pasquarelli is Professor of Political Science at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), in the Graduate Program in Social Sciences (PGC) at the Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM), and the Graduate Program in International Relations (PPGRI) at the Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB). Camila Alejandra Beltrán Reyes is a lawyer specialized in telecommunications management and regulation and new technologies from the Externado University of Colombia. She completed an LL.M. in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law at Queen Mary University of London. She has been a researcher at the Center for AI and Digital Policy in the United States and recently completed a fellowship with the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI), where she conducted academic research on the loss of control over AI systems in accordance with the EU GPAI Code of Practice. Cinthya Soledad Olivera Angeles is a researcher and innovation specialist based in Peru. She holds a PhD in Humanities from the University of Piura, where her research examines consumer culture, imported goods, and social aspirations in Lima between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She also holds a Master's degree in Marketing and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Her research interests include consumer culture, Latin American social history, identity formation, public innovation, and the social impact of artificial intelligence in education and organizations. She is particularly interested in understanding how consumption, institutions, and technological change shape individual aspirations and collective identities across time. Alongside her academic work, she has led innovation and digital transformation initiatives in international organizations and the public sector across Latin America.

Felippe S. Ramos is a political sociologist and international affairs specialist with a Ph.D. in Sociology from The New School for Social Research. His research examines democracy and populism, Latin American and Caribbean geopolitics, regional integration, strategic autonomy, and the transformation of the international order. He served as Senior Political Adviser to the Secretary-General of the Association of Caribbean States and previously worked with IPEA in Venezuela. Gisela Pereyra Doval is a Researcher at Argentina’s National Scientific Research Council (CONICET) and an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR). Gustavo Alejandro Cardozo is a Resident Researcher at Observa China (ObservaChinaNet, Brazil). Juan Pablo Sims is a scholar of International Relations and International Political Economy at Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile, specializing in great-power competition, China's engagement with the Global South, and the foreign policy of Latin America and the Caribbean. Quintijn Kat is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Ashoka University. He has been a visiting professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Warwick, and spent visiting research stints at George Washington University and the University of São Paulo. He was also a research fellow with the Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation (CEDLA) at the University of Amsterdam. Quintijn received his Ph.D. in International Relations of the Americas from the Institute of the Americas, University College London. His research focuses on hegemony, asymmetrical relations, and the agency and foreign policy of small and weak states, with a particular emphasis on Latin America and US–Latin American relations. Furthermore, he works on Global IR and the epistemic marginalisation of communities that are not easily categorised by IR's conceptual vocabulary.

Zara Albright is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Princeton University Program in Latin American Studies and a 2025-2026 Hans J. Morgenthau Fellow at the O’Brien Notre Dame International Security Center. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Science at Boston University in 2025, where she was also a Global China Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Global Development Policy Center. Zara’s research explores how smaller states navigate great power competition and how domestic politics influence foreign policies, with an empirical focus on how Latin American states are approaching the rise of China. Her scholarship centers Latin America as a site of meaningful theory generation about international relations and counters frameworks that treat the region as a passive target of great power influence. Zara’s research has been published in journals such as Latin American Politics and Society, the Cambridge Review of International Affairs, and the Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional.
